Stacy McIntee

Stacy McIntee is the Director of Talent Acquisition at The Well Recruiting Solutions. She joined in June 2025 and leads a team of eight recruiters and talent scouts dedicated exclusively to the RIA space. She has led searches for wealth management firms across the country, from advisors and service advisors to directors of operations, portfolio managers and chief operating officers. She is also the recruiter a client named in a published testimonial on The Well's homepage.

Stacy has built a career on one skill that does not change across industries: knowing when a hire is right. She started in advertising sales with Verizon Information Services, ran marketing for a fencing company, and spent five years as a mortgage account executive with lenders including Franklin American, Impac and NovaStar. She moved into recruiting at Akkodis, first as an Enterprise Recruiter and then as an Enterprise Account Manager, and later led strategic accounts and recruiting at Paudhatek. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Presbyterian College.

That mix matters. Stacy has sat on the sales side of the desk and on the hiring side, so she understands how firm leaders evaluate a role and how candidates approach a career move.

At The Well, Stacy manages her team while running searches end to end. She coaches recruiters, supports their development, and helps establish the standards that guide the team's work. She also reviews candidates who apply through The Well's website and screens recruiters the firm considers hiring. When The Well built a scoring tool for recruiter candidates, Stacy's own profile was the benchmark it was measured against.

Her searches show how much recruiting depends on timing and relationships. On a chief operating officer search for a California firm, she presented a candidate within four days of the search opening. The client responded that he might be ideal, and he accepted the offer a few weeks later. On another COO search, a strong candidate declined because she could not relocate. Stacy maintained the relationship, and six weeks later that candidate became COO of a Phoenix firm The Well was also working with.

Stacy brings consistency and care to every search, balancing hands-on recruiting with coaching and leading her team. She is committed to finding the person who is not just qualified but exactly right.

Pastor's kid, mom of two teens, and keeper of two tiny dogs, Stacy calls St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, home. You'll find her at the beach, chasing fresh seafood, or catching live music, probably with one of her eight (and counting) Yeti cups in hand.
